books on tape - my favorite - books that read themselves to you - i got the lion the witch and the wardrobe for my son at christmas time, and for myself i've collected MLK speeches on CD, along w/ comedy by Bill Cosby and an Amish comedian from Pennsylvania Dutch Comedy (he's like ninety years old or something)...I love audio. see www.npr.com for audio archives.
not really a fan of the beat anthology on tape, though that was my main initiation to beat writing - an anthology (book) I happened upon in 10th grade. I remember liking Ferlinghetti the best, and Amiri Baraka, and Big Sur I think I liked the best or maybe Dharma Bums. Also the Electric Cool Aid Acid test and Ken Kesey is a cool cat, though I've only read One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. That and some letters he wrote to FOUND magazine.
