Just read that

Then I read some Hermann Hesse who is compared to Hamsun sometimes, though not necessarily in writing style. I don't seem to be able to escape this book, I had just read an essay on it by Paul Auster when I saw it by chance and actually what I'm saying is boring me...
Anyway, it's great-the opening is very much like Crime and Punishment but it develops rather differently. Some very funny bits too, like when he goes up to the cop...on second thoughts you might not be up to that bit yet...
Think I'll read Mysteries next
