"Spengler and Moe", that's hilarious! Indeed, the Stooges should be considered a bit of an influence, at least on Kerouac (hard to picture Ginsberg doing a mock Curley imitation for the fun of it, though).

"Neal and the Three Stooges" is one of the great audio tracks of Kerouac reading (an excerpt, I believe, from "Visions of Cody"?).
