but I find must hardcore pornography "nasty" and "disgusting". And I absolutley hate anything violent - It is in no way sexy or attractive.

I more than often opt for the more artistic types of pornography, like playboy - although I perfer natural women. I guess I still view women the way I did when I was 13 years old, in the Rennaisance sense of being "angels", or whatever.

That being said, people are insecure not just with their sexuality, but with their lives in general. They desire a set of concrete rules to abide by to make their lifes more black and white, and less chaotic.

Our sex drives are very powerful, and affect our emotions greatly, and these people will do anything they can to suppress them. They woudl essentially being "letting go", and this is scary. The same thing goes for the mind, and drugs. They do not want to change their perceptions. They have no intention of opening their minds, or looking at things from anything but a one-dimensional view point.

And lets not forget about the governments constant defense of christianity, which of course allows them to control the population with more ease.
