fresh, hot literary news?

Posted to Utterances

just some questions to keep you busy on a friday... things i've been thinking about lately as i throw away an unread newspaper:

do you read the book review/arts section of your local paper (if you have one)? do you find that this is useful information or is it irrelevant to you/your tastes?

as writers/folks interested in literature, do you find that you seek out news/information on books, writing and literature, or do you rely on your own experiences and word of mouth recommendations? do you enjoy reading reviews, best-seller lists or summaries... either online or in print?

please... share your thoughts with us. we're listening.
