ever get the feeling that there's nothing

Posted to Utterances

worth reading or writing that's new. all the rreal great ideas and ecxpressions have been put forth. now of course we can rearracnge or rediscover even independentlly the great ideas of past but by people putting a bunch of crap out there we are diluting the great work of the past. it gets harder and harder to find, or recall, the genious of old when its burried beneath -- or moved to the shelving facility -- all the new crap that keeps pouring out.

example: the old left got it right; the new left just confuses the issues. example: the beats were really on to something, something so simple yet complex that you cannot exhaust their work in a lifetime; read other stuff produced since but your just wasting your time and obscuring the pure essence of truth. same said for ancient religion and philosophy. fuck the modern. and fuck the ancients. just smoke books and crave nooks.

watch sunsets. embracce relationships.
