I'd rather read a book than watch a flick any day

There are some things that film cannot capture; the moment, the feelings, the descriptive self-portrait of writing is immensely superior to film; being inside the writers mind is something that compels one to read a particular text. Every time I read Dickens (my favorite) I feel like I'm right there and no film maker could ever do Dickens or any good writer justice.
