okay, what i really wanna know is...

Posted to Utterances

have you really chosen a writing persona?

have you adapted another writer's voice as your own? have you imagined an ideal, and tried to filter your writing through the voice of the ideal? have you imitated those who have gone before you? tried to expand on something that's only been previously touched upon?

or do you write from a straightforward, "this is what happened to me today" kind of perspective?

and if you could write somebody else's material, whose would it be?
