your answer...not sure I think the same tho but having a passion is what makes life so beautiful and worthwhile.
When I say, I don't think the same...I put a lot of things before my art, for instance, my kids, my mate, my friends who are so amazingly wonderful, family, all those things would come first and do. I'd drop my art in a minute, its significance would shrink immediately when a child of mine is ill, a friend needs a helping hand, and so on but I can always pick it up again later. They are definitely not background distortion and most of the time, they are what inspires me in the first place. If one is open to it, I know support comes eventually.
I think that if an artist is really dedicated to his/her art...everything around them becomes art, Shibui...living as an art at the highest level and the best that you are capable of achieving.
You are good at writing, much more proficent and cabable than many I have read...if you feel compelled to communicate in some form or another...there is no higher calling, for that is what creates understanding on a human level. I applaud you.
