Camus is one of my favorite writers

Posted to Utterances

I dont think I could ever attain his brilliance but I also doubt myself , therefore I wont get very far. But I consider Camus maybe a poet as much as he is a philosopher and writer of the absurd. That's too bad about Camus and Sartre but Sartre always struck me as an irritating little man , too smart for his own in some areas.
I know that Camus was always in love with the weather but towards the end was disenchanted with the flux of nature.
In his notebooks he wrote that he should record everyday weather patterns just to record them.
He was a weather man for a brief time but you know all that . Ive read your article before and I enjoyed it very much . As far as politics go , I have more conservative politics than most and definately more so than most artists. Probably rubbed off from my father but I'm considerate and intelligent in my pursuits.
I wasn't far at all for Camus to be critisized at all for his politics .. it's just a loose thread for people to pull on. Politics are always a very strong subject .. I hate that .
