last thing before leaving

lasting philosophy of life from a man
who can harldy think
his hands are alive with the memory of sin
and his body is lying in wait

oh the corpses and drunkards
and splendidly held
will dive from the deep
and split the infinitive

of my own death i wonder
what i can offer lines
to the philharmonic extras
of sanctimonious dread

why dont you come along
for the ride
for the ride
of your life

kick back take a potion from me
ive got so much i could say

so leave all your pettiness and stand
like a man
like a man
like me.
