My beggining of the summer reading consists of
The Sound and the Fury by William Faulkner
The Beautiful and the Damned by F. Scott Fitzgerald
An American Tragedy by Theodore Dreiser
I decided to read some more sort of canonical American novels after I finished Mystery Train:Images of Rcok n' Roll in America by Greil Marcus, so i picked these as starters. I'm about half way thru the Faulkner and I'm LOVING it.
