It breathes the sea [pc]

Posted to Poetry

This is an experiment with a form invented by Kathleen Raine, where you repeat the same 6 units in a particular order. I wondered if people had comments since there aren't very many poems here in form.

It breathes in the sea.
Nothing buoys it.
But it swims.

It swims in the sea.
It buoys and breathes–
Nothing but it.

It breathes and swims;
The sea buoys it.
But it is nothing.

Nothing swims,
Breathing the sea,
buoyed, but it.
