You think "documentaries" are supposed to be "objective," right? A common misperception...

Documentaries are not "reporting," nor do they have any inherent responsibility to "educate." They are simply film essays, generally advancing a particular hypothesis or point of view. In other words, they are typically op-ed productions. Some of them make good arguments -- some of them don't.

Michael Moore, in my opinion, fails to deliver effective arguments because he's awfully loose with his facts, but he makes excellent documentaries.
