the inspectors

were re-admitted into Iraq in late '02. Bush's show of force was successful in getting them re-admitted.

Well, we've already had this discussion, so I won't waste much more of our time on it. I don't think a full invasion and extended occupation of Iraq was warranted in March, 2003, given what we knew, and given the circumstances. I believe the inspectors should have been given at least a year to work (with the pressure kept on Saddam's regime, unlike in years past) while we focused more on bin Laden and al Qaeda directly, who represent the larger, more credible threat to our security. We have an honest difference of opinion here, I guess.
