you are onto something....opinions of a certain kind cause wars, yes. Conflicts are not always resolved so possibly the process of being in conflict without resorting to violence is a more apt description, but conflict resolution as a process (forget abut the outcome)is a sharing of opinions.....without resorting to violence.
