I live in a shack by the rail road tracks

Posted to Poetry and Politics

I love to watch the trains loaded with shipping containers roll by, I try to imagine myself sitting at the RR crossing when the one with the nuke in it goes kablooey, my friend the psychiatrist tells me I have a sick sense of humor.

this has nothing to do with nothing, well maybe I could say it is my hysterical paranoid fantasy.

Nice show today on Fresh Air about how safe we are from the thirteen million shipping containers floating around the world, sitting on trains and trucks, while we scan your luggage at the airport these forty foot containers weighing up to thirty tons waltz in and out of our ports, criss cross the country on trucks and trains.
