It is LF! And the title is...

I love this poem! It's one of my favorites of Ferlinghetti's. And unlike many of his, it actually has a title. You will all kick yourselves, but it is called "Dog," as a matter of fact, and that's all. I can't go to SF without thinking about the line about Coit tower. And as long as I'm playing Rain(wo)man I believe another message in this thread is referring to "The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock," which is actually a T.S. Eliot poem (also great, "I have measured out my life in coffee spoons." How can you beat that? Oh, yeah. With "The evening star must be drooping and shedding her sparkler dims").
