wily old men

i’m just gonna go for the “shootin’ the shit” here:

1) william blake, the wily old man who liked to draw, and who also liked to cameo in visions of various writers…

2) walt whitman, the wily old man who should have been a beat, and who also should have had the “pleasure” of discovering wholesale frozen peas…

both writers are very well represented on this site… in fact, the bios have made me want more… both have strange similarities in writing, especially with death as a theme.

i would like to explore this more, and i would also like to further explore the influence of this on ginsberg…

hmmmm. does this sound interesting?
