I discovered corso in rolling stone that included an excerpt from his poem "marriage" in the february issue of this year. I had just gotten into beat literature and poetry and fell in love with its honesty and appeal. I was blown away by corso. his poetry is honest and truthful and communicates what real people feel and what he himself feels and he puts it into words so well. i try to do this with my own writing as well- he was a huge influence on me. although he was overlooked i think he had his own legacy that he carried on with...
