because you’ll recognize when you see it
if you see it
see this is me for the moment
all tragic and torn
but i want you to know
it’s not always like this
i can only give you what is there
and that’s not always what you need
so forgive me now
while you still can
push me back over the line i’ve stepped
tell me to wait
remind me to breathe
and look me in the eye
just once…
