corridors and doors

Time to step up
To unknown corridors
Echoing through the walls
Crowding the air
With beckoning
Grasping for attention
With persuasive pleas

Walking blindfolded
To unknown destiny
Reality spins the roulet wheel
The rolling ball dictates unforseen obstacles
But can also send boons,
Gifts that change life’s direction.

The man at the end of the hall
Stands guard over ten different doors.
He asks passerbys to choose
Once a door is chosen
A blindfold is placed over the eyes
One is spun around

When blinded and disoriented
Another doorman awaits
With multiple keys to other doors
Lined along a hallway
That stretches an unknown distance

Another door must be chosen
Behind door 456, the blindfold is removed
And one is greeted to a sight of infinite pleasure
With all of one’s desires within reach
But door 492 leads to an unnavigable labyrinth
With countless other doors
Most of which guard empty closets
Or storage rooms full of barbed wire
But in that labyrinth
Is hidden a secret door
If one wasn’t blindfolded
One could see that it is of a hue
Than no human eye has seen before.

When that door is opened
One realizes infinite truth
Wether blindfolded or not
Because the room’s esscence
Radiates with an intensity
Strong enough to be felt by the soul
No matter what restriction are placed
On the optical senses
