your eyes tumble in video replay
fast and slow motion engaged
under deep brown riverbeds
there is a system of stars
wailing outside tonight
the last time we picked
up those cards hidden
the signs read deceptively
an encoded encasement
an elusive eclipse
the liquor vented sideways
out our moon-starved minds
laughing tear bullets
into buckets of water
ever increasing incessant
the radio waves passing
between two entities
the passage of myths
like miniature secrets
that can be held
by two hands
laid bare and open
