the string being replace by rope
that i used to hang your letters out dry

they drowned in the bottle when i sent them out to sea
how should i know if you get any of them
when no replies are heard
no voice on the wind
no whisper in my sleep
of what i thought would be my conciousness
or my destiny that somehow could be changed
by an explanation i was never searching for
dialogue that got lost
in the wind while hanging on that rope…

it seems the sigh hung itself with rope that was
fed it long enough
to hear this code…but it did it no good
