take me to your rhapsodies
quick erase the silence
sing the blues in sharp flat keys
echo me with violets
dance me to the mountaintop
barefoot without danger
take me to your dignity
let me be your stranger

take me to your irony
take me to your pleasure
take me on the wings of free
take me double measure

wrap me with your solemn eyes
see me with your vision
take me quick without disguise
ride me with precision
take me past the certainty
of a door closed tightly
take me on the wings of dusk
kiss me never lightly

take me to indemnity
take me to forever
take me where the clocks have stopped
take me now to never
take me to your rhapsodies
hold me without grieving
take me up with expertise
take me past believing

hide me in captivity
fly me to illusion
wrap my creativity
take me from confusion
on a span with wings of dawn
take me to ascension
take me void of overdrawn
claim me in suspension

with vague distant rhapsodies
can you fly my drowning?
take me while the symphony
blinds my ears resounding
and with stolid ardent truth
take me to evasion
wrap the mist of twilight deep
balance my equation

and anon i’ll take you past
fantasy’s exclusion
dance you with my wild caprice
vanish your seclusion
