hey, you

don’t lock your window tonight.
listen for me knocking in quiet taps
waiting for you to appear in the mulberry night
to take me.
open the window
watch me climb into your private space
with dirty shoes,
ripped jeans
and black fall sweater wrapped tight.
let me in.
let me in…
don’t lock your window tonight.
pretend i’m not a dream clamoring in
pretend i’m reality
with soft lotioned flesh
wet waiting thighs
wanting hot emotions for you.
touch me like i’m next to you in black cherry light
bringing three dimensions to your rem sleep.
put your hands on me,
the small of my back,
between my legs
as you tell me you know me
that i’m there
with you,
there.
with you.
i’ll come looking for you
to flirt in and out of sleep.
to kiss your neck in morning wishes
to lick the back of your knees in weak moments
to brush my lips past yours as you breathe
hours in and out of your chest.
hey,
you,
don’t lock your window tonight.
i’ll come
knocking.
