Just got back from islands
air cleaner, yes
but the world is the same
just different hues
all the postcards bearing life
just made me wanna be a hobbit
sit in a hole and think
read books
write poetry on the life I’ve already lived
which I’m sure is enough to earn heaven or warrant hell
but I’m still thirsty
44 ounce cup thirsty
soul in petri dishes wantin to understand
disect it all
find self worth at its base
build off of it
tear it down and examine again
test hypothesis
