it coils
round my frame
tearing with
abandoned care
that lays limp
in my lesions
like lovers
undulating
breeding inside
the festering words
that strike me
letter after
razor blade letter
pronounced with
judgment
from a man’s mouth
that drips
saliva
from the mind
that spills ignorance
from routine experience
instilled by
mother’s milk
unthought out hopes
flapping in existence
slapping with
a comet’s tail
the hurt fizzling
as i walk
away…for good
