compensation,
reverberation,
explication,
regeneration,
affirmation,
contemplation,
exasperation,
commiseration,
excitation clean.

Dust is swept in a wisp from the floor
by the trailing foot of a blind man
deep in an ecstasy of memory
and knowledge.
Like that.

Wisps of cloud-dust in raw red sky.

Whispers of answers in the landslides of mind.

Wait,
can you hear the tambourines clashing and crashing for attention?
Jesus Jason I can’t get a grip on this commotion.
Don’t worry John, he says, it’s all just motion
and persistent beats.
