Because, 99% of the time, the point of art is to convey a feeling, message, idea, etc. Jackson Pollock is a good example of this, where, while there are no images in his work, the idea of mood or emotion is suggestion simply by color choice, patterning, etc.

To bring the idea back to Illuminara’s poem, a lot of the images are so weak, or vague, that no emotion can be gathered from them. I understand the idea of language poetry, and I also understand the idea of language vaccine poetry, but Illuminara seems to have a message. I would simply like to know what it is.
