I hope you don’t give up. This board is hard to take at times. But it is real people attempting to communicate about some of the hardest things anyone ever tries to understand. And we all come in with our own perceptions and ideas. The question of ‘evil’ perhaps rightly has no place in enlightened consciousness, yet anyone with even cursory knowledge of history can think of examples where the actions of humanity against humanity seem to equate to what people instinctively recognize as ‘evil’.

I will say that I love my enemy. I volunteer for that. I understand the unnecessary manufactured differences between us…. there is no real basis for it all. But I also want to survive. If my ‘enemy’ does not have this same realization (perhaps he’s been fed even bigger lies than me), then I need to at least keep ‘one eye out’ for my own protection….

And yes!… Thank god for insomnia!… (me too)
