i’ve thought about it and tried…
i teach a junior high life skills class…
it doesn’t work.
you can give skills…
you can teach strategies
but in some cases…
it just doesn’t work.

much like i try to teach kindess
and some kids still steal another’s lunch
or punch them on the playground
or call them horrible names.

somethings just don’t take.
