she has tapped into

what have these people done
these transcendentalists
these beats
these hippies
what have they done..?

alyson wonders
as she sits and types
and wonders wonder wonders
never ceasing wonder
just like the folks
she wonders about

so she will make her wonder
a vision – a journey to discover
unravel these things
that people before her has
people that were labled
only (just for now)
she wont have a label
but only the curiosity
alyson wonderland
drinking of the cup
eating of the flower
opening bottles
becoming big
becoming small
she too will transcend
and she will feel beat
and she will get jazzed
she will get hippie

and one day
yes, one day
alyson’s wonder
will land her
in the same spot
as all the others
landing inside herself
where all her questions
will reveal themselves
