crown royal

make it neat,
no ice except for
the melting on the tongue
like a melody sung with a flick
of a lick of rhythm,
crown royal, sweet king,
i sing the sip and taste the sweet
into repeat, so soft the ring
of Love, so harmonized –
the size of rhapsody,
our mp3
so succulent
the taste of it,
so slick the licks
in riffs and drifts,
so silent sanctioned
eyes which lift
the halo to the moon,
so soon the destiny
around the coil
which takes us full,
majestic foil
soft glimmered on
the lips
which speak
the trips of souls
out into streets
to come again
in greet, repeat,
crown royal
whiskied,
tongue in cheek

my king in seat of throne,
the tone of paradise
like sacred stars
shone wide,
the rise
miraculous
and oh so
high so slow
so low so showed
so sweet so very
sweet so dared
so sweet
so bared
my barefoot
feet which
walk upon
the dawn,
the lawn
of Love
like blades
of grass
between each
toe.

give me your crown royal.
make it neat.
i’ll let you play
with my halo.
