always pretend

until one day

a phrase happens

and voila! we get convinced

but fall short of

convincing others

and when we do

we are not so sure

so we write about it

and fiddle with the alphbet

tossing letters about

into a salad of prose

dosed with intoxicating

rhythms and rhymes

concocting new ways

of delivering our piece-a
