ever, so i’d fall in the “or not” category. i’m not sure if i’m ever in the zone, or maybe it’s that i’m never out of it. since about a year ago, everything is a poem or a story to me. some things strike me more than others, usually i try to write what i know best, so i take scenes from my own life and experiences, but other times i just see and object and well, objectify it. sometimes someone (or even i) will say or word something that just clicks in with thoughts i have rambling around in my head. kick-starting the process… i’m not sure if there’s a way to do this, but relaxing and being ready helps me.

of course i write a lot of trash and ridiculous things, but i find it’s good exercise for an otherwise tired mind.
