A question on beauty

Did anybody ever have the feeling, when hearing a song they really liked, that they were listening to pure beauty…I have this at the moment…Nini Inch Nails brought out a new album, and the bonus-album contains some of the most beautiful instrumental tracks I ever heard…to me it sounds as if Trent Reznor actually grasped this abstract, almost platonic Idea of “beauty” and poured it into a song…does this sound weird or not? Did any of you ever have it, and if so, with which songs?
