I want to get into wind instruments, brass, trumpet ideally, but don’t want to spend a few hundred dollars on a piece of brass that I might not totally get into; the question is if you have an idea about a small cheap brass? pennywhistle? of course a harmonica is probably the best thing to get into wind with, but I have already a few, and I think that I need something that I can’t breath in through, because being use to a harp, whenever I play something that one must put wind into, and can not draw wind through, I always want to draw in, and so the harp gets me too use to being able to breath in and still produce a note. I thought maybe I’d just rent a trumpet, but I hate to rent, I like to have a thing to show for my expenditure. I do have my malotica, that is a blow-in only instrument, but it has keys like a keyboard, too many possiblities, I want the three plungers of a trumpet.
