I don’t think it’s a waste of time to try to
discern truth from unpleasant situations
if this were the case
most great literature would be moot

I have lived the junky life as well and you are right
it is boring
and perhaps it is uncomfortable for you to review it
i know naked lunch has terrified me at times
but there is also a hard-hitting commentary there
