in sacrificial lambs of any sort. but i think that’s a good metaphorical thought.

the true artists can admire as long as they still find the main thing from within. i don’t think that you can only have one of the two. but you need to keep perspective on the past. it’s past. it’s passed. it’s over. what will be next? you need to make it or fall behind and become irrelevant. kerouac idolized wolfe. waits idolized kerouac.. they all have their own voices. you have to KEEP IT MOVING.
