a loser, ghc… you are a bright, shiny pebble tossing in the rocky current. you’re just going through a rough time… don’t think lowly of yourself just because you’re going through a rough time. i’ve been doing that to myself for years and i’m just now realizing that it’s not my fault, and i feel so much better about it.

yesterday i’m sure i made a low grade on my math final, lowering the ‘a’ in the class i’ve worked so hard for. it’s not my fault.. i was sick and missed class–and this does not make me a loser.

i hope your family pulls through. we can’t lose lucy’s smile.
