Invasion by Tunnel

Did you know that the British lived in fear of invasion by tunnel? The French and the British realized it was difficult BUT POSSIBLE to tunnel under the English channel to attack. They painted pictures of armies marching through the tunnel, w/ horses and carts and supplies and weapons. Amazing.
