The expression is more important than the technical correctness of writing. Without breaking the rules language changes far less. Change can come from innovation and even error. That’s often how new words are formed.

Editing someone who doesn’t ask for it tells you more about the ego of the editor than it does about the one being corrected.

With all due respect, if someone wants to parent they can go to the Pre-school forum.

Just my humble opinion.
